Enjoy the Good Life During Maine Lakes Brew Fest

If you’re lucky enough to have bought a home in the area recently congratulate yourself once again on a great decision, and get ready for the 13th annual Maine Lakes Brew Fest!

Brew FestThis 21-and-older event is taking place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Point Sebago in beautiful Casco, just minutes away from the shores of Thompson Lake. Organizers say there will be almost 100 varieties of beer and wine for us to sample, along with artisan craft vendors, two live bands and local favorite Chad Porter. You won’t go hungry, either, with a wide range of food vendors offering hot dogs, burgers, hot wings, chili, wood-fired pizza, sausage and pulled pork sandwiches, oysters and – of course – Maine lobster rolls.

The entire event is held under multiple tents covering, so it will go on no matter whatever the weather that day.

The Brew Fest has grown significantly since its earliest days. In the first years, just a few hundred people would turn out for it, but organizers said that, more than 3,000 people attended last year.

Last year’s fest offered great weather and even better food and brews for all to sample – a truly perfect day in Maine. Of course, perfect days in Maine are easy to enjoy when you live in such a beautiful area. The Thompson Lake area offers access to many great cultural events like the Brew Fest, as well as natural scenery and peaceful surroundings in the Maine mountain region.
