By giving the potential buyer a more blank slate, they can imagine what they would do with the space.

You want to have a welcoming front yard, and you want to have a backyard that gives the impression that it will be ideal for entertaining, but don’t neglect any side lawns. Whether it’s a narrow strip between you and your neighbor or a large, underused space, make it accessible, clear out any weeds and remove any unappealing fencing to make it as inviting as possible.
Consider Updating Your Front Door
The front door could be considered the face of your home, so why not spruce it up or give it a little personality? Try replacing your old door with a new unique looking door or one in a fun color, like green or red. If you are looking to add a classy touch, consider installing a flashy new doorknocker. A fresh door can give your home a unique twist that many buyers will love.
